RSM, really you need to learn english
I never once said that Biden could not handle the tough questions or that he shouldn't be asked such questions.  In fact if you look at that interview he does a great job at handling them, when it is clear that he had been misled by Barbara West, because he seemed to think it was going to be a much lighter interview.

Maybe if Barbara West had asked McCain some tough questions instead of basically campaigning for him you case might be valid.  But the way she phrased her questions it was clear that she was trying to be insulting and make unfounded implications.  She showed NO respect at all towards Biden, while basically doing all she could to make McCain look great.  That is not balanced journalism.

You guys go off about the 'evil liberal' media, and yet here we see just how bad the conservatives in media can be. And all manner of relevant questions towards Palin, that ware of the same level as what was asked of Biden, you guys label as being 'sexists'.  So while Biden should be given all manner of tough questions, we need to go easy with Palin.  And of course we need to make sure the reporters ask your guys the easy questions in a manner that makes them look good while the same reporters can get away with being insulting towards the other side.

Man, conservatives like you have to be the greatest hypocrites this world has ever seen.

Re: RSM, did you watch the interview in question?

Oh, Mr. Biden is not a big boy? He can't be asked tough questions because that is just not right. BULL! If you liberals from Obama down to Kooka can not take the heat then maybe politics and leading a nation is really something you should steer away from, get the picture? When you are a public official then you are never above reproach. This is what dictators desire like Obama/Biden. Trapped? A VP should never be able to be trapped. This is exactly what I have said all along, your Hussein/Biden team are weak and can not lead their way out of a wet paper bag! All of you liberals are so weak and pathetic. Biden should be a man for once and be able to answer the tough questions.

Obama/Biden :Boy wonder and his sidekick gaffeman!

RSM, did you watch the interview in question?
And did you watch the two interviews Barbara West had with McCain?

With Biden she asked insulting and attacking questions.  With McCain she basically set him up for his own free campaign commercials on her show.  Maybe if Barbara had asked McCain some real questions and treated him as badly as she treated Biden, but no.  She made it very clear that she was playing sides and was as biased as it gets.

The Obama campaign should decided to no longer give her a chance to interview them.  If she is not going to show equal respect to them as she does for McCain, then that is how they should treat her.

They are not all at denying freedom of speech, they are just saying that is you wish to play such a game, they will not play with you.  It sounds to me like they set Biden up by promising him one kind of interview and then trying to trap him by not following what was agreed upon.

And Biden did a fine job in addressing the questions, even if it was obvious that he felt he had been misled and ambushed.  He answered them directly and did not try to change the subject as we have seen with the other VP candidate.  He did not leave part way through, but stayed the course and showed the reporter more respect than she was showing him.  He answered those tough questions, he showed his experience and professionalism and he made it clear he could handle leading this nation.  McCain and Palin could learn a lot by looking at how he handled himself in that interview.

You and New York radio talk show host Mark Simone caught funny traits about Biden. Similarly to President Bush Simone said that Biden makes grammatical mistakes when he speaks. I wrote some political comedy stories. I hold credits in government courses. For myself I missed Biden. However I also thought that Al Gore faded off, and I voted for him in 2000. w/TLC, BCA *** Bill*s Wave:: Blog on

You skew the facts

the campaign decided not to let the interviewer interview Mrs. Biden.  There is nothing in the story I read that said they "shut her down".  That cannot happen, and the station would be all over them for it I am sure, noting the timbre of the station.

And I saw the interview -- it was no real interview -- just basically conservative propagand with nothing but warmed over accusations that have already been debunked.

sorry, but that's the truth

Why was it not reported more when he said
to Katie Couric that when the depression started Franklin Roosevelt got on TV and addressed the American public. He's a heart beat away from the Oval Office.  I know I feel better with him being Obama's excuse for experience.
