I completely concur wit Krisles - this election isn't about 'thinking' and facts, it's about emotion, and in large part an emotional reaction to
Bush...As a little aside: in Cuba, people didn't vote, at best they 'voted'...

Re: Krisles
Amen, that is a good comment. Unless there is a great silent majority we will all suffer beyond our wildest imagination.

It's so amazing....the Kool-Aid drinkers....and they have no idea the damage he will do with appointments to the Supreme Court. It's the price paid for following the media and hysteria versus really studying the facts.....I'm not really pleased with McCain as the Republican candidate even though I think he is a fine man....but, to compare him versus Obama as a presidential candidate....puleeeeeeeze.........and all this bullshit about Palin...double puuuuullleeeeezze.......people are so into whiplash from Bush they aren't thinking...they simply aren't thinking.....and that is so dangerous for our country. Our only hope is that enough will feel that tinge of worry before they pull the lever or fill in the little box.....

Really good post, Justi
Where did I read this? That if Obama were applying for top secret clearance, he would not be approved? And yet he may well become President??? Did you say that? Huh. I've been reading too much lately. Anyway, frightening.
I strongly believe that if he becomes pres our country will take a turn for the worse and will never regain that ground. I believe that we will see a huge loss of freedom of speech, press, freedom of religion, etc and like a slow cooked frog we won't know what happened to us, and will never regain the lost freedoms. I fear we may develop a much better appreciation for the people in other lands who have so much less freedom than we.
I think we will see the beginning of a new epoch in our history, and it won't be good.

Whats amazing is how people sweep it all under the carpet. Shows you where the country is mentally.

Re: I am sincerely hoping
New Yorker, that is our only hope. There is so much registration and most likely voter fraud that we are unlikely to know who won for some time. I hope there are enough people who know the truth.
