Re: Mordent...

You are one sick individual - and the reason you do not hear racism from McCain/Palin is because they echo your own sentiments. The reason you feel Wright's church is racist... is because you are not comfortable with African-Americans.

And jackass - Palin's husband is not an Eskimo... being a white American in Alaska is no different from being a white American in Idaho. What a total ignormaous you are. I would laugh if it were not so goddamned sad.

Do yourself a favor stay the hell out of my blog. Here - I will make it easy for you... you are blocked. No, I am not afraid of what you say... I am blocking you for the same reason I do not read The National Enquirer... it is garbage - and so is what you say. But you see... the Enquirer does not show up at my door uninvited.

Poof... you are gone dude.

If you don't think Pastor Wrights church is racist you're insane. Try attending it and tell me how welcome you feel. If Wright is telling the truth than so is the Ku Klux Klan. As I'm sure that black on white rape and black crime in general is much more than the vice-versa. Since you're so concerned about truth.

You probably listen to more of this political garbage than I do but I've never heard McCain/Palin say anything racist at all. All I hear is that they're going to fix the country like the other jerk. I think you're programmed to believe anyone on the right is racist. Again this is very black and white thinking.

Isn't Palin married to an Eskimo? OOps I'm sorry for the un pc term,,,um what is it then. Native Alaskan...awwwhh shucks I don't know and I don't care. What I mean is she can't really be racist then can she?

As for voting I recomend no one. Keep your money in your pocket and just have fun at the circus because that's all it is anyway.

This leftist stuff about equality for all is a huge myth and delusional on their part. Everybody is too divided by different cultural/religious/financial backgrounds.

For example leftists will preach tolerance for Muslims but Muslims would see leftists as having garbage values and the left would never be tolerated in a Muslim society.

The left is pro-feminist but Muslims are....not exactly shall we say.

The left is not for equality for all, it is simply for people who think like them just the way Republicans are for people who think like them.

So Ayers is too old for you? Isn't that bigoted of you? Why does age matter as long as he's old enough (18 and over).

It doesn't matter since every teacher in Western schools is just a cookie-cutter out of the leftist glue factories it shouldn't be hard to meet one whose age is suitable.

I wonder how much they believe their own talk or is it just what one says to fit in. Same thing in Hollywood right.

If it's whitey like me that scares you then what kind of neighborhood do you live in? I'll bet it's all white.

And why the hell would you live in the Bible-Belt? Are you a masochist? Canada's way more socialist you know.

Guess what? I hope Obama wins. Really McCain's just another Bush. It would be like sleeping with one's ex (yuk). It's time for something new.

You see if Obambi turns this place into a welfare state than I can just laugh at all the fools that went for it. But if he's the second coming then I guess it's miracles galore and whooopppee! I win either way you see.

Re: Re: Re: Mordent... honey... Let me take you on - point by point.

So Obama attends a racist church and McCain grabs the mike from people who say racist stuff at his rallies.

Obama does not attend a racist church... and his pastor is not racist. He said some things that most do not wish to hear... the truth. What is taking place at the McCain/Palin rallies is evident that we have not come so far after all.

McCain is taking the mikes because he is smart enough to know this stuff will kill his chances... however, the fact that he says he is proud of Palin who is inciting these outburst speaks for itself.

You're completely void of logic.

I am quite logical.

I don't like the kiddies singing for Obama or McCain. It actually reminds me of Hitler Youth. Just so you know I don't like Obama or McCain and I think that if this is all this country can come up with we're in bad shape.

And who would you recommend?

The lessons in school may have political themes but a ridiculous leftist slant doens't have to come with it.

So what is so ridiculous about the leftist slant? Because we really do believe in equality for all? Not just all white males?

The sheet remark implies anyone whose not with Obama is racist. Fair enough..

No... it implies if you do not hear the hatred and the racism behind the words and deeds of McCain/Palin you must be in agreement.

I will go bleach my sheets if you marry William Ayers.

I am younger than Obama... so if he was 8 when he was supposed to be "palling around" with Ayers... who was in is late to mid-20's - well - you do the math Einstein.

As I said... you buy into all that stuff - it is ridiculous "whities" like you that terrify the hell out of me.

Re: Politically Incorrect
It is a challenge to be sure... when most of the literature we teach from the colonial times to present day - has political and religious themes.

Re: Mordent... honey...

It sounds like you are the one who is brainwashed. I am sure if the children were singing McCain anthems... you would be just fine. And if you do not think McCain and Palin are spouting racists propaganda... that again is only because they are singing your song.

Go bleach your sheets...

Have McCain/Palin been making racist comments? I know Wright sure has. I mean it's not the 1960's anymore and in my experiences blacks seem way more racist than whites.

After all more whites are voting for Obama than blacks voting for McCain.

Maybe speaking out against McCain in the classroom could cause trouble in the bible belt but everywhere else you could get away with it. You've seen the little school children singing pro-Obama anthems on CNN.

Maybe teachers should leave politics and religion out of schools and just teach math, English and so forth. Or maybe they should try to brainwash kids with their own personal opinions.

Politically Incorrect
I am troubled by the demands of Political Correctness in society.  I have colleagues who are afraid to talk about evolution in biology classes for fear of being labeled as insensitive to religious belief.  I also had a colleague who taught chemistry and openly denied evolution to my students (in a tutorial session) on the basis that "evolution defies the Second Law of Thermodynamics (which I challenged because that is complete nonsense).  He is no longer at the school because of sexual harassment complaints.  Sadly, though I think he was a lousy teacher and not much of a human being, I don't believe his actions constituted sexual harassment.  Maybe I should have complained about his complete lack of understanding of his own field.  But I didn't.   I don't want to make trouble.

So I feel for you.  But you seem to do the best you can in the circumstances, and that's all any of us can do.  Keep up the good work.
