I too am an old timer here and I agree
BlogIt is a nice place to visit but you don't want to live here. I like being able to come and go as I please without retribution. I like having a forum to be who I want to be, say what I want to say. I am a nocternal blogger and typically when I have insomnia (like now). Sometimes I have something significant to share and other times, bla...bla..bla. I am most amazed at how much we are willing to reveal of ourselves when we can wear a mask of anonymity. BlogIt has been great therapy for me.

Pat, my name is Patricia, too...but I've always been called Trish, at least
since college when I changed it to that...I hated being called Pat (sorry, lol) or Patty! I've never popped one out and I intend to keep it that way...

Trish? tish-tosh...
Some guy used to call me trish because my name's patricia and I hated that. Always thought of trish as one of those paris hilton types who thinks shopping is an occupation, spends afternoons at the tennis club with snob friends, totally useless except possibly to marry rich and pop out another little trish or trevor... Ariala, on the other hand is an adventure about to happen, a clever turn of phrase, a slight step off the expected path. I'd keep her.

it's an addiction alright. But I was glad to know I was

We like ya no matter who you become....
THat is, I do -- I suppose I shouldn't speak in the royal first person plural...
But you're right...BlogIt has a certain something that keeps me around. I don't know what it is. I ought not to care. But here I've been here off and on for about five years. And while I don't thnk my on screen persona is much different than who I am every day, there's still that virtual palete out there -- kinda cool, really, as long as it doesn't go overboard.
