- Go to HEY! I FOUND SOME SMART DEMOCRATS!
I personally know many of the people who are Democrats for McCain
They are good, decent people who have moderate views and are scared to death of an Obama presidency. I'm not a member myself because I have become a registered Republican. I cannot identify with their hypocrisy anymore - they preach so much about love, peace and tolerance yet they are narrow-minded, look down their noses at and have violent reactions towards anyone who does not think like them.
I should know. I was a Dem for 23 years. In a strange twist of events, if Hillary Clinton had not been ousted by her own party and trashed by the media, I'd still be blinded by all the Democratic nonsense. That's not to say that I wholeheartedly embrace all the GOP viewpoints, but I've come to the conclusion that no, I don't expect the government to solve all my problems and no, I don't wake up every morning chanting "the government owes me, the government must give to me." I've grown tired of how the Dems preach about helping the poor and the needy while dressed head to toe in designer clothing. Honestly, can you see someone like Nancy Pelosi or John Kerry sitting down at a dinner table with a low-income family and listening to what their problems and needs are? They wouldn't be caught dead anywhere near them!

Republicans for Obama
Yes, there is such a site. And it has an impressive list of Republicans supporting Obama. And a growing list.
Odd how you say Obama's foreign policy is "dangerous" when it matches very closely with McCain's demigod hero, General Petraeus. Talking to enemies without precondition, securing political and economic cooperation in Afghanistan and Pakistan, more troops in Afghanistan and using them with an apporpriate strategy rather than another "surge". Or has the general got it wrong?
