MsRefusenik, wow...I had no idea anyone wrote about me on AC.
LOL I went and found one article that mentioned Ariala. Very interesting...I wouldn't consider myself "famous" but then again, I have been a rather outspoken blogger at times LOL I'm glad you decided to join and glad you stopped by! Happy Bloggin to you!

So you are the famous Ariala...
I heard about you before I got to Blogit. I thought as popular as you are I was going to have to go looking for you. I never dreamed you'd leave me a comment. Yeah, I was checking out reviews of Blogit on Associated Content before I decided to sign up. The reviews were mostly glowing. One was from a woman who used to be the number one Blogit blogger until you rose to the top of the pack and stayed there for years. She said she begrudged you nothing and that you deserved your blogging success and popularity. I was intrigued that so many people liked you so much. You must be very humble to leave comments on brand new blogger's blogs like mine. Thanks a bunch. MsRefusenik

For Maxey right? I just finished my first greeting card batch ever.
At first I was scared to write for cancer patients. I checked out some "humorous" e-cards on the web for cancer patients and most all of them just said "fuck cancer" which isn't terribly funny to me. I finally gave up on trying to think of funny cancer cards, maybe because my sister just died from it in December of last year. But I surprised myself with the ideas I did have for adults, teens and kids. $75 a card sounds pretty good. But did you know that Blue Mountain Greetings pays $300/card and even $50 if all they do is put your poem or verse in an anthology they have? Send e-mail to: writings@sps.com for
Blue Mountain Arts Writer's Guidelines.

Pat...I had some light, smiley type ones...nothing radically funny as
they are for cancer patients...Maybe they should be really funny as laughter is healing, but didn't take it in that direction (this time)

Good luck with this Ariala -- I hope some of them were funny.
I love a funny card -- I'll stand in the greeting card aisle and laugh out loud, some of them are better than standup comedy.

Good Luck, Ariala! I think determination, combined with talent and ability
eventually gets 'er done..:) You will succeed!...

Romance and historic/social fields interest me and a song or two too would be cool, lol..

Good luck with the greeting cards Ariala!
I wanted to break into something other than my fluffy stuff (not that there's anything wrong with fluff!)

and I just did with a story they are publishing in Canada's Historic magazine, The Beaver. I'm thrilled!
