Let not your heart be troubled! Thank You, because of you I have I listen!
That is so kind to hear, what a tranformation, I would be shocked yet I hear this at my job and I'm from the south in rebel land. Somewhat holy will soon be accepted by all.

Speaks to this nation's wounded hopes and dreams - Interesting and
informative. Thank you for sharing and I'll be watching for something similar on John McCain...another good man, but these times are calling for real change.

I am so with you.  I think Obama will win this election I really hope so.  I think he is a true and honest person.  I believe in him that he stands behind his word.  He knows what it is like to live in hard times.  He speaks from his heart and all Mccain knows how to do is talk about joe the plumber he should give it up because mccain is struggling right now with this campaign because he knows he is losing this one. My vote is honorbly Obama for he will be a great leader.  Let's not forget that our country's backbone is that of the working class. Hard working people that needs a break from what had been stolen from us. Give us a real leader Obama for president I probably could go on forever about this.  I should stop here great writing.

From Slavery to Presidency
If we imagine how Blacks were auctioned then as slaves, the humiliation, discrimination and the struggles they went through to prove that America can be a great nation where REAL democracy and EQUAL opportuniy thrives.... then this article is not really that dramatic... nor eulogy-category.... it is a simple description and an expression of awe on the evolution of a country and its people... if physics can invent a machine and we can go back to the time of slavery in America and experienced to be one, then back now to the present when we are running for presidency... I'm sure an article like this would not suffice to describe our experiences and emotions.... just imagining....

Thanks for posting this, EX.  Though, like Naut, I found it a bit over the top for a man very much alive!  He does seem to be the nicer, more intelligent and balanced candidate, though, and in his favor, no Palin to weigh him down!  Mal

EX TURPI
Viewing this from North of the border with relative (not complete) disinterest, all this tells me is that Mr. Schaeffer is a bit unbalanced and has gone gaga over a man who has certainly not demonstrated that he justifies the kind of language usually reserved for a eulogy, quite apart from still being alive...
