Sam, we have to put those folks there, in DC, and tell them what we want!
We have to remember that they work for us, they are not our parents or teachers or authorities: their authority comes from us!  Which is why it is so vitally important to this nation to get informed before heading out to vote!

TAPS and Troosha, that is such an important point!

Ciel
Why are we so afraid to call the economically challenged– the poor, the urban militants – gangs, or the passionately religious – fanatical?  I say, call it as it is… and it is particularly important the politicians not have to tip toe around; grasping for political correctness thereby shading and glossing over their message.

Excellent! These folks in Wasington D. C. need to come together to provide a means for opportunity! I cringe when I think about the great minds that go to waste in the inner cities. sam

A post well done, Ciel.  It's a shame that our candidates are driven to watch every word they say because of the scrutinous multitudes just watching for something to complain about.
