I've seen this in action and have tried to explain it to people who feel good about supporting this kind of endeavor to no avail.

In Africa in particular the money from well meaning foreigners often dry up along the way before it reaches the people it was supposed to help.

I cannot understand why people do not understand that Obama wants to make it a world of Pauls, his ilk and those who never worked, earned, or shared anywhere or with anybody. I already give away a lot of mine to the goverment, others and I think I would rather be absent that day.
