Potent medium
Internet is a potent medium but like all good things has some limitations too. You have to use your own judgment on what is good for you. There's lot of muck which you need to discard to get relevant and useful material.

I don't think anybody owns it. Of course those who provide the tools and services charge for their labor. A new internet... a super fast one... is almost complete and ready to replace this one!
