As Mariaki said "an unexpected piece" but the panic... it bleeds through the prose.

Frightening..
Makes me think of my friends in the Search and Rescue team and the people I did First Aid Training with.. One day, this might happen to any of us.. Great piece!

Oh my Shelly!
A most unexpected piece indeed; actually rather than end of life it seemed to me like a panic attack - these feelings are the same; an excellent piece all the same my friend; many blessings and thanks always

I often wondered what people might feel. You have said it, terrifyingly clear.

I have felt your pain.
I remember those days of "being there" and my beeper going off because I was on call and patients needed something and juggling the time.  Thank God for my Mom. Many times I ran in just in time to do the finishing touches and finding a seat and a quick kiss at the end of her performance and off on the road again.
