This reminds me of the philosophy of Jean-Jacques Rousseau
who would have been equally repulsed by these images. His philosophy was that man was best in
the state of nature as, what he termed, a “noble savage”. Might make for some boring reading if
your up late one night but it won’t be nearly as fun as The Life of Pi!
