Re:
What Palin did was human, but not every human reaction is acceptable in government. That's why we have ethics rules. As for Obama and corruption, I haven't seen much evidence to show it. But I'll read more on ACORN.

Things can get ugly with in-laws. What she did was human. That is most humans would resort to that kind of tactic.
What about Obama and acorn? I think that's much more serious. Besides they don't have any dirt on Palin/McCain as they do on Obama. Not even close.
Isn't Chicago the most corrupt political place? Is Obama impervious?

Palin has GBS - George Bush Syndrome...
She has a backyard mentality... if it is not happening in her backyard - or within seeing distance (ergo - Russia and her claim to foreign policy experience) - then it does not affect her. People who think like this... do not understand that others take a broader look at the world... and do hear and catch them in their lies and ignorant proclamations.

I'm trying to find a way to express a non-political opinion on the abuse
of power -- but that's exactly the subject of my current blog. Totally different context, of course. What comes to mind is "All power corrupts." I guess we should be forewarned by the rest of that quote: "absolute power corrupts absolutely."
