Good grief, NY in S, where have I been???

I am just now discovering this blog of yours!  Delightful!!

Well, regarding your newlyweds, if she's anything of a feminist and having trouble with the Italian civil code, she might only have his name for a few decades at most.  Reminds me of a couple here.  She's a pt of mine who married a much older man about 20 years ago.  He's now in his 90s, and she's in her 50s caring for him.  Shortly after their marriage, they were in a brutal car accident and the once very young acting 70 year old immediately became an invalid old man; she's cared for him ever since.  Hopefully this won't happen to your friends.

TAPS,
Everyone was insinuating that she only married him for his money - he's the owner of a very large tour operator company in his native country. I must say though, he looked very much in love, she just looked "cute".

NewYorker_in_Sicily, I hope that they are madly in love so that nothing else mattered.
