OMG! Driving? In his condition? That's an accident waiting to happen. If no one can help perhaps you could confiscate his car keys? Or give his car a flat? As for the rest: you will continue to be there for him. Why? Because it's in your charitable nature. You can't help it. Don't even try.

God Bless You. I find myself in those situations. I always remind myself that I hope some young person will be there for me. IT DOESN'T HELP.
