My dear Shelly
I didn't realize your affliction was so severe! I do hope you find relief with this new medication sweetie; meditation doesn't help I suppose? I find that placing my body in rela mode sometimes helps with the less severe attacks. For sure you are in my prayers and may G-d gift you the strength to cope - I know migraine can be very dibilitating my friend; many blessings and thanks always

Hi sis, it's so captivating, that I intend to read it as soon I am in New Delhi. It's a five hour drive from here. The operation is scheduled for the day after, on the 11th. Will catch up with you tonight hopefully. I am so far behind in reading or replying, but then I'm not supposed to be reading, writing for more than an hour or so. Will also keep you posted on the developments which I should knmow by Monday or Tyuesday.

I can relate to wanting to be rid of the pain
I have lived with migraines since I was a child. I hope your new meds work. I have to thank God for my Chiropractor and my healing energy therapist and massage and Rieki and healing touch and therapeutic touch. and learning how to break the pain spike that protrudes in your engery field when you have migraines. Last but not least my infra-red sauna. my tens unit and trigger point injections. I have also used EFT but it has not worked as well but I have not been able to get to the cause using EFT. I have also used self-hypnosis with good results as long as I can be alone and uninerrupt which is not an option at this point in my life. Lastly are pain meds and I also use Head On early on. It has worked well. What ever the intervention, I always have to follow it with sleep to rebalance my body. When I was younger and hormonal, I could always tell it was going to be a bad migraine when my rings turned my fingers green.
Learning the alternative methods have helped me to be proactive and in control more of the pain and the duration if I pay attention to it early. Again best of luck with your meds and your migraines.
