My most tranquil and enjoyable hours are those with the TV off.
Suddenly I'm not bombarded with gloom, doom and dire warnings, repetitious broadcasts of children shot through the walls of their house while doing homework... I wonder how much happier we'd all be if we just let the media talk to itself.
