Obama and his followers have a goal--The White House. It makes no difference how he gets there, lie, steal, rob, or violence if it comes to that. They plan on this election. They just may not make it.... All things are possible in Christ Jesus! I am looking for a different outcome.

Re: Re: Again, Reality
With regard to the Ohio laws allowing registration and voting on the same day, those votes are not counted until election day, giving 30 days to validate the registration before they are counted.  Besides, the total in Ohio's four largest counties, including heavily Democratic Cuyahoga County (Cleveland), was 4198 total votes.  Obama will win by more than this.

Re: Again, Reality

Thanks, but . .

Re-read the article's mention that the Ohio Supreme Court's minority opinion found that the practice "directly contradicts Ohio's Constitution." I see - the Constitution means whatever they say it means from one day to the next. And how do you propose to validate registrations after votes have been cast? People register, and they vote. Bang, bang. No validatiion.

As for the professionalism of the Obama campaign, they can't even publish an excerpt from a newspaper article correctly. They mangled an article from the Detroit Free Press at http://www.barackobama.com/2008/09/30/in_economic_crisis_obama_offer.php. Go read it and try to figure out where the Obama quotation ends, without peeking at the original article.

More seriously, the "professionalism" seems to be the professionalism of the Chicago political machine, with all the attendant ethical and legal vacuums.

Again, Reality
These laws do not mean registrations cannot be validated.  Votes are not counted until election day, so there is a month to check every registration, including those from today.  Every aspect of these laws has been through the courts, so it's all been thoroughly reviewed.  But in the end, it won't make any difference.  Obama was going to win in Ohio regardless of same-day registration and voting.

On the other hand, one of the clear differences between the Obama Campaign and those of his Democratic predecessors is the level of organization.  Obama's is the most professional campaign to come along in a long time.  He's unstoppable.

And the vote in Florida was stolen.  Bush v. Gore is a travesty of American jurisprudence.
