- Go to I ADMIT IT, ATHEISTS THINK ABOUT RELIGIOUS IDEAS MORE THAN BELIEVERS DO
You do
seem to think about religious ideas way more than many believers. One critical difference between Atheists, like yourself, and believers who actually think about their believes, is that you, and perhaps a very small minority of believers (whom I would rather call worshippers of truth), think "about" the ideas found in religious traditions and not just "with" these ideas. To think "with" the ideas usually have a circular effect that only strengthen these same ideas whilst thinking "about" them usually have a growing spiral effect. For me, in my personal life, the latter is what religion is really about, understanding as we do and then trying to transcend that and in this way actually growing spiritually. Obviously religion is not only about understanding and knowledge but also about increasing the quality of lived through experience, but that is another topic.

I enjoyed your post,
i guess i am an exception to your rule, i believe there is a god (i can see his signature), and think about it ALL the time. It's religion i do not believe in.
