I am sometimes hypocritical, even though I don't want to be. I remember leaving college classes of physical fitness for life and arobexs many times and hurrying out of the campus building so I could go have a cigarette before my next class.
I knew then that that wasn't quite right, but I did it anyway. Sounded a little dumb to me.
At least now I don't smoke, but I am still inconsistent and hypocritical in a lot of areas of my life.
I found my self calling a little vehicle that someone wanted to sell me a death trap and then realized that I ride a motorcycle a lot. Hmmmm.......sometimes I am just too funny.
Congratulations in regards to your 1 year on Blogit. I remember when I first noticed your name and comments and it is amazing how fast time goes. Thank you for all the different times you dropped in to visit my blogs.

Very, very perceptive! I think we all at times act hypocritically, if not politically, then in other areas of life...

It’s difficult to remain true to oneself or stick to one’s convictions. How easily we are sometimes swayed.

I guess we have all been guilty of that, of agreeing with someone to not seem "out of touch" or "different" but I find as I grow older I care less and less what the ones that like to judge others think of me. I am sure I still will nod or smile at one time or another to something I do not agree with, but I will probably do it more for them to shut up already than to get on their good side. Great post on your year + 1 day :-)
