Good points but the kooky left doesn't care.

I never understand why these folks do this. They always get caught!

Say, on the broken record at the meditations (lol), I love it. It is consistent and that is what I am trying to accomplish. Some just say good night if that will help. Thanks for stopping in it means a great deal to me. sam

Re:
TAPS, I've done a little nit picking myself re Palin.  The winking doesn't bother me but other things do.  I understand what you're saying!

Lists
1.  Palin said "Families".  Even in that non-binding resolution, the $42,000 only applied to single people.  And has nothing to do with Obama's tax plan.  So Palin "lied" if anyone did.

2.  In his original answer to the question about meeting with world leaders without preconditions, Obama said he would engage in diplomatic contacts.  He never has said, in anything I've been able to find, that he personally as president would meet with anyone as a first step.  It's a continuous lie of the McCain campaign.

4.  McCain voted against bills that included funding for the troops because he objected to other parts of the bills, just as Obama did.  Both have always supported funding for the troops, just sometimes through competing bills.  Biden is right.

7.  Palin called McCain's plan "revenue neutral".  In fact, it will cost $1.5 Trillion over ten years, as currently written.  Furthermore, the plan does include adding health care benefits to taxable income, which will only be offset by the tax credit for some, not all people.  So perhaps Biden is over-stating it, but he's closer than either McCain or Palin to accurate numbers on McCain's plan.

9.  Minor point, that one bit of the 'surge strategy' may apply.  The general said, as Biden correctly states, that the plan as a whole does not apply.

10.  As recently as earlier this year, McCain has advocated decreased regulation in general, and repeatedly.  He has supported, albeit weakly, increased regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, but failed to get anything done about them.  And he was just following along with Senator Shelby, anyway.

11.  Biden quoted McCain on specifics on Iraq where McCain was wrong:  that the war would be over in a few months at most, that we would be greeted as liberators, that there was no history of conflict between Sunnis and Shiites.

Read the others in your list, and you'll find they don't come to any reasonable standard as lies.  Minor points of quibbling, maybe.

So, what's next?  Do you fact check Palin?  Did she say anything related to facts?

Fantastic post. Yes he lies like a rug. She was good. She won hands down because she was truthful. She has far more executive experience than Obama. She has a tremendously greater amount of honesty than the whole of the Democratic party;.

JanesOpinion, I just wish she wouldn't wink at the camera.  Doesn't seem very business like.  In fact, it makes me want to turn of the TV and not watch.   I know, I know, it sounds nit picky but its like a fly in the ointment to me.
