This comment, incidentally, was made well over 50 years ago. My dad happened to be passing by at a rally held by Amintore Fanfani, who was one of the founders of Italy's Christian Democrat party, when a group of Communist infiltrated and let a few mice run across the podium. Undeterred and with aplomb, he pronounced those words.
