- Go to Was This A BAILOUT of Mainstreet? Wallstreet? Or A PORK Barrel Windfall??
Option 3. Of course.
If they wanted to bail out Wall Street they would have done nothing. That would have caused banks and investment companies to clean house. That's how you eliminate waste. You let companies sink and destroy themselves, and then in the future, live within your means.

ha ha, Corbin, thank you for clarifying that for me. I can see what an important impact on the economy this will have.

I did hear.....
an explanation of the wooden arrows.......archery and hunting arrows have a 30 cent excise tax on them because their considered the equivalent of ammunition. The tax inadvertently applied to children's toy arrows that cost 35-40 cents each and had to have the 30 tax added on......this was important for the boy scouts etc......
Since the Senate was not going to be considering anything else this year...it was added on to ease that tax burden...........which by the way equates it with the same level of importance as the apocalyptic financial crisis.....

It's such a joke. This didn't pass the first time around, so it shouldn't
pass now. What, they had a problem with it before, but now that it has wooden arrows and Puerto Rican rum it's acceptable? Give me a break. I guess the next American Revolution is going to be fought with bows and arrows by drunken Samoans.
