TV has become a fixture in our lives -- I'm wondering if Joe
actually remembers FDR's fireside chats. I wasn't born yet, but heard recorded playbacks when I was in school -- I imagine in 20 years or so, some candidate will say with confidence that Nixon's speeches were live over the Worldwide Web.
