Re: Difference Calculus
Yes, I would vote for her for president. She would be a much wiser choice than someone who is running for the president of the United States who makes the statement, during a financial crisis, "IF YOU NEED ME, CALL ME!" Of course, I am speaking of your candidate of choice Hussein Obama.

Difference Calculus
Presidential candidates choose themselves and face the public and media. Whoever comes out on top has, in some sense, earned the position. Clinton and Obama have been through that. They have responded to questions and attacks, they have recovered from mistakes and misstatements.
Vice presidential candidates are selected by presidential candidates. Often, they are the first clear decision by a candidate that shows the kind of judgment he will use in office. So, someone with a relatively weak resume running and winning shows talent and grit. Choosing someone with a weak resume shows questionable judgment. That's the difference between Palin and Clinton.
But my opposition to Palin is based on her record, which, short though it may be, contains a lot of really bad stuff. Creationsim, firing those who question her, lying about her reasons for decisions, trying to ban books, lying about her record on fiscal matters. And now they have to stage events for her, and keep the press on a tight leash around her. In all honesty, would you vote for her if she were running for president? She's not worth a second glance.
