I'll
have to get fitted next time I'm in the States, although I don't know when that will ever ever be now.  Not Here!  The bras here are teeny tiny and all very padded, not at all natural, I hate them!!

I bet you love your mother a wee bit more now. And maybe you can ask the store to hire you to promote the goods. You are completely transformed.

Sira, I hope you gave your mom a big hug! What a thoughtful woman.
And once your bra is properly fitted, I'd say the next step is to get some really good shoes. Nothing useful has ever been accomplished in uncomfortable shoes. I think that's how the saying goes. Coincidentally, I was "grabbed" by a fitter last time I wandered through the bra department at Kohl's -- she measured and fitted me right out there in the store, through a light tee shirt -- and sold me on an eighteen-hour bra that's almost a sports bra. Very comfortable and supportive.  I'm wondering if you need to go to the kids' department for jeans -- your body sounds like my thirteen-year-old granddaughter's - very slim thighs and "boy" hips. My younger daughter often has to shop the teen aisles.

Sira
Clearly a case of "All's well that ends well!" And when do we get to see a picture? With your shirt on, of course?

Sira, I was so happy when I got to read part 2 of your post
that you found out your mother is not completely bats. No matter how tight money is I only ever get 'unmentionables' he he - that are fitted. I suspect you could find stores that do fittings that are priced more reasonably. The other factor is that years of having no support will take its toll. And yes it is amazing the difference it makes to your clothes and posture, and not to mention it is much better to have a good sports model - for when you go out walking. I have one splurge per year on this and buy about four. One time a year or so ago, my little girl was with me, and she loved watching the whole show, and telling me which ones were pretty.

Actually, I've always had my bra fitted but in Australia they are much less
expensive. I'll hang on to what I'm wearing until I get back there I think!

Holy Smoke!
I could buy ten years worth of underwear for that price!
