She is beautiful... and so is the little girl she is tending to... I wonder if she wants the kind of life the women had in Afghanistan under the Taliban for her child...never learning because women did not go to school, never playing outdoors because she could be taken and raped or worse, never having an opinion when she grew up because as a female she did not count. I wonder if she was there at that rally against troops in Afghanistan because she wanted the Taliban back... or if she was there because she had grown up so ignorant and oppressed that she did not have a spirit anymore to stand for herself. There is a sadness about her, in her downward glance...her smileless face... but hey yes...she is beautiful, I agree.
