Cringe! Wow, it's been so long since I read this one.
I love it, marvelous comeuppance "how the mighty have fallen" and all that for some soul who's gained a flattering view of his own importance in the scheme of things. Hope you self-proclaimed old "bag of bones" sees yourself as others see you again soon. I enjoyed your mood when you wote about your makeover and pampering by a beautician. :)
