I remember as a little girl the six day war. I went and found the atlas and
who Israel's neighbors were. I was terrified for these people so as I grew I tried to read more and learn just a little bit about them. There have been times when they have saddened me greatly. Some of the things that happened in the Palestinian refugee camps were murder. But on the whole I have spent my life applauding their gutsy struggle for their homeland. In the beginning they bought the land. They didn't take it like other countries do, they paid for what they got. Since then yes things have changed but I think if I had grown up in a Kibbutz surrounded by hate and watched a desert turn into an orange grove I would be proud to keep it and take ever more desert and repeat the miracle.
I look forward to more of what you have to say Naut.

I haven't been around internet much for the last three days or so and I'm way behind in reading posts. You have a lot of interesting stuff here to catch up on. But, after reading this one, I think I'd better make me a pot of coffee first.

Thanks for posting this, Naut. Typical Hamas - and why am I not surprised? Turns my stomach and this is what Israel has to deal with. Try to find Farfar's counterpart in Tel Aviv and you'll find...... nice Mickey!
