Kabu, we have a neighbour or two we do that face to every day..lol...
well, one in particular we REALLY DO feel like doing to them,,

..,he's a nice guy but he's wandering around the neighborhood with an open beer in his hand at 7a.m...

Sounds so cozy and loving!
Smile into their stares; I did that (or oft tried, lol) in this tiny town where I wasn't born and many eventually do warm; even if they don't, you'll still be warm with sweet Wiley by your side..:)

Oh I know sooo well how you feel. I am a not-belonger everywhere which is of course all my own fault because I chose to live in so many countries none of them the one I was born in. And you know what: I have cultivated the not-belonger status, it also gives you a lot of freedom.
