My kids turned out well but I can't claim all the credit--they put up with

a lot of my craziness, and some of it took some forgiving.  But they  are all happy and loving people, productive in the world,  and giving themselves lots of options.  And they still invite me into their adult lives.   That's how I gauge success!

I'm glad your kids are so ready to be there!  It isnt just for Richard they  are there, it is for you, too.

I totally relate my dear!
I also had this whilst my sons were growing up - although their behavious was excellent  outside the house and quite good inside; they are now 21 and 29 respectively and have turned out wonderfully, considering they were deprived of a father figure; I am enormously proud of them both!
