good thing you're not allergic
to bee stings (me either, thank God!) for some they cause much more than just a painful sting....

Sometimes they leave a stinger
I hope it didn't leave the stinger in your arm. Yes I'm glad too that your not allergic that's a whole another bugger.

I was hosting a party one summer and took a swig from a can of pop and WHAM got stung on the lip by a wasp that had been lingering in the can. A few people expressed some concern but mostly they were enjoying the party. I ran into the house to get some ice for my now completely swollen lip and never did quite get back into “party mode”. I felt like an alien sitting there with my huge lip….and secretly wanted everyone to just go home. A tiny little thing but those stings hurt, don't they? Glad you found a helpful librarian.

Poor you I'm sort of glad they die after they sting seems only fair to me

(I know it hurt poor Shell) ~ Actually, since you did not have a big reaction, I bet that wee bee helped you a bit...or so some say. I guess it depends on if it truly was a little prick or one of the bigger pricks. 
~ Either way. I'm truly glad you're doing better from that sting.
