Hi Betty, I was born premature and was very sick. I just turned 31. The
Lord has used my life in wonderful ways. I hope that gives you some encouragement. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

You are going to be OK too sweetie, but my heart goes out to you, it must be very hard to have your sister in that home. I hope your visit with her , when you can make it, is a sweet one. I will keep you in my prayers. (((((TAp)))))

what a darling wee man and thank God the problem has been solved.
It seems so simple when you find out what was wrong but what a dreadful worry everyone has had. Thank God he should be alright now and they may grow. I shall pray that they do.

Thank G-d it is not a degenerative disease, viral or cancer. Small nasal passages can be fixed, at least. He's gorgeous and appears to have lots of love surrounding him. I'm so happy his parents can finally take him home - though they have many sleepless nights ahead. Mal

Oh my word, he's beautiful!!!
I'm so glad they discovered the problem!
You know, that reminds me of my sister. She had a horrific speech problem as a child, and did not learn to speak properly until about 3rd grade. Her kindergarten and first grade teachers told our parents that she would only be a C student at best. They sat her in the corner, gave her things to color, and ignored her. It wasn't until my parents took her to a variety of specialists that they discovered she was so nasally congested it was affecting her speech. Children need to breathe through their nasal passages and mouth in order to speak properly.
When she graduated from high school as valedictorian, my parents wanted to go back to her original teachers and show them the presumed mediocre student they had ignored. Once she received treatment for the congestion, and changed to a Christian school, her grades quickly improved.
Hope the bills received don't cause too much apoplexy for your family members!

Taps
I suppose that’s a bit like a good news/bad news scenario but at least little Jack is on his way home and hopefully the problem will correct itself (or be corrected some day down the road). Phewww – what a relief it must be for everyone to finally know.

I'm so glad to hear they've found the answer. And that it's treatable.
This is wonderful news, Taps -- and knowing he's going to be ok should make your sis feel better, too.

Thanks, BC-A. Now that they know what the problem is, everyone can work together to help him live with it, or later fix the problem.
