ginnieb, I haven't seen that system/game, but son in FL has an older one that is a real workout on running in place and jumping and stuff like that. It's fun for contests with my grandkids and I'm always puffing when done, but it's better than just sitting and doing joy sticks computer controls.

Ginnie
I must admit that, being a bit of a fitness freak, spending a fair amount of my free time lifting weights, jogging (again), riding my bicycle (in summer) and swimming, I have always looked down my nose on anything that smacks of 'virtual' fitness. But this Wii thing seems different, and actually useful from all I've heard, and I'm gonna check it out...

I've asked "Santa" for a Wii
They're very hard to find here as well, so I gave dad...er...Santa! lots of advance notice, so he wouldn't have to battle the christmas crowds trying to find one. They sound like a riot, and will let me indulge my gaming habits and get moving at the same time!

The Step program is great BC-A!
I kind of suck at it so far but hopefully it (I) will improve! Thanks!
Are you really going to run in the NY marathon?

Hi Kabu and Wiley!
It costs about $300 for the system and another $100 for the Fit program...or in my terms about a dozen physiotherapy treatments..that we still pay a portion of here! I'd rather be here than in physio!

I've heard of it and it sounds pretty cool. I also like the idea of the bowling or the other sports. We're not that hi-tech around here though. Beats the heck out of finding all kinds of excuses for not going for a walk. Just pop into the living room (or wherever) and start moving!
