Re: Re: Re: Re: Cherry Picking?
You say you know you are right. So, let's have it in simple terms. What, exactly, are you right about? That both Teddy Roosevelt and Sarah Palin were nominated with less than two years as governors? Not news. That comparing Palin to Roosevelt is ridiculous, because she has nothing else on her resume, and he had plenty? Hardly an argument for your side. Mostly, I find it amusing that you "put that out there", and then deny any significance it should have. So exactly what "truth" have you attempted to communicate here? Your passion about it interests me, but what is your point?

Re: Re: Re: Cherry Picking?
Whatever you say mouse! Whatever! I put it out there because I thought it was interesting, it obviously struck a nerve with liberals, then so be it, it was obviously very true because when get this kind of response then you know you are right. Thanks for proving that this post got under your skin; the truth tends to do that to people.

Re: Re: Cherry Picking?
Hm. Using an example of a two-year governor, but not with any intention of implying that the two are comparable? If you intend to show them not comparable, why not include the contrasts rather than just a single comparison? I assumed you had a point that corresponded to your words. I did make my comparison, and Palin, well, pales. As for your little game of "Gotcha", what does it mean? That in response to your bit of drivel, I did a bit of research, found your article superficial and pretty much pointless, and said so. So, now research is a liberal assumption? Yes, I'll take that. Palin is not nearly as qualified at TR was, which your bit here suggests you understand. Or am I giving you too much credit again?

Re: Cherry Picking?
Cherry picking? Why yes you are but that does not surprise me coming from a liberal. Interesting how you ASSUMED I was calling Palin and TR 'equals'. It is so funny how the leftist democrat liberal party always 100% of the time ASSUME everything. I never once said they were equal. I simply posted this for you to make your comparison of the two and you took it and ran with it as if I was calling them equal. You failed this test.

Cherry Picking?
I think maybe you should look over the complete resume of Palin and Roosevelt before calling them equal. I mean, Roosevelt had more on his list than just two years of being governor of a rather unpopulous state. Doesn't military leadership count with your Red Staters anymore?

I dide not say I admired TR nor did I say I disliked him! Look folks, your typical liberal! Just let them talk and they do the rest. By all means, talk on Xeno. You help the cause in ways you will never know.

Re: OK we'll use what Lloyd Benson said to Dan Quayle in 1998
First, thank GOD Quayle was "no John Kennedy". That would have worthless if he would have been and coming from a loser liberal like old Lloyd Benson (now he was a real winner your party came up with there Xeno) apparently America did not take any stock in what that idiot said either! To use a favorite phrase from your boy "logic nor history" proved Lloyd Benson to be right about anything that came out of his mouth.
Sarah Palin is no Teddy Roosevelt YET!
Keep trying to figure out my comparison between the twoo, it is right in your face then again I realize you are a liberal democrat so this may take several months before you realize the comparison, GOD willing I will have the time on earth until you do figure it out!

But at least now we see how lowly you disregard Teddy Roosevelt.
You probably want to replace his face with that of our least illustrious president, Ronald Reagan.

OK we'll use what Lloyd Benson said to Dan Quayle in 1998
when Danny mentioned some connection with John Kennedy.
Because you are somehow making a connection here.
Ms. Palin is no Teddy Roosevelt.
What I am trying to figure is how you make the connection in the first place. We are talking about two different people here and Ms. Palin pales in comparison with Pres. Roosevelt.

Re: Teddy Roosevelt -- I doubt you really agree with him.
Where in this post did I ever say I admired TR? Where? Or is it that you made your usual 'assumption' of everything in the world. You must stop assuming everything. It is not a good practice. I was merely making a comparison of the two and their life's experiences and backgrounds in political life. You may need to use a teleprompter while commenting on posts or creating posts in the future. It works really well for Hussein Obama.

Xenox, good grief, I'm guessing it's not that RSM necessarily agrees with TR, it's the fact that he is so similar in history and background to Palin and became president. You Demos are harping on her for her supposed lack of experience, and yet you could support someone like TR . . . or for that matter, your Messiah Obama. Duh.

Speaking of Palin, your candidate is a liar. Yesterday, republican strategists admitted to CNN half of what she says in her speeches are LIES!!! For instance, her infamous " Thanks, but no thanks" reaction to the bridge of nowhere never took place. Congress admitted the project itself was aborted. Secondly, selling the governor's jet on eBAY never took place. She posted it on eBAY, but it never sold. Instead it was sold at a loss to private investor. Thirdly, she insists upon cutting down the number of earmarks she's requested for the state of Alaska, when in reality, she has asked for a whopping $191 million for the state of Alaska, the most any govenor has requested. And you think, they aren't justified to speak ill of Palin. Of course, they need to, they need to expose her for what she is, a LIAR!

Teddy Roosevelt -- I doubt you really agree with him.
He ran counter the the Republican Party of his time, busting trusts and taxing the corporations (I thought you were against such), then he broke with his party and formed the Progressive Party (Bullmoose) over his social ideas (that his cousin, FDR, took on later [and which you vehemently oppose]).
So don't talk to me about how much you admire TR -- you oppose his policies.
And so does Sarah Palin.

OF COURSE YOU LIKE HER.
She shares your extreme right-wing point of view, quoting from people who hoped Robert Kennedy would be killed. See my latest post on Republicans, the Party of the 19th Century.
