Very timely and head clearing post, Bel..too easy to get caught up in the
fervor of personality and pickin' for nits..:) Discussing, resolving the issues, which are pressing and needful of respect and civility gets lost in the shuffle. Thank you for the reminder of gratitude for our freedom; it is priceless, indeed.

Good post, Bel.  What a country we have that people are free to say such things that are so offensive and still not get in trouble for it.  I have a lot of respect for people who can talk about politics and their political preferences without becoming offensive.

Re: Now that was a well written post
Thank you Kooka.  The offenses are coming from both sides of the arena, but hopefully, things will calm down a bit soon.

Re: I just have to wonder...
I agree food4thought.  We all have opinions and for the most part, most of us have NO INTENTION or desire to change them, no matter what someone else says...it just seems to be an incredible waste of energy to me to end up name calling over something that is not going to change anything.

I just have to wonder...
How many of the so called "experts" who tell "how it is" with such certainty get their information?  You're right, it just devolves into name calling and a "did not...did to" kind of thing.
