SOUTH AMERICAN POET
I DON'T KNOW, I JUST DON'T REMEMBER, MAYBE YOU WILL  RECOGNIZE THE STYLE WHEN I LIST ONE. I WILL TRY TO POST ONE TONIGHT, THEY ARE QUITE DIFFERENT, YOU MAY NOT KNOW WHAT I MEAN AND I DON'T KNOW IF I COULD EXPLAIN THEM, ONE THING I REMEMBER IS , HIS IDEA WAS TO USE AS FEW WORDS AS HE COULD , ITS HARD TO EXPLAIN, MAYBE YOU WILL SEE WHAT I MEAN WHEN YOU READ THEM. THANKS AGAIN. KENT

Pablo Neruda, perhaps?  That's the only South American poet I know of (though I'm sure there are many).

Check it out - he does some wonderful work!

Re: POEMS
NO OFFENSE TAKEN, I APPRECIATE YOUR COMMENTS, IT IS KIND OF STRANGE BRINGING THESE OUT AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, I HAVEN'T READ THEM FOR YEARS AND MOST OF THEM HAVE NEVER BEEN READ BY ANYONE, I HAD FORGOTTEN ABOUT ALOT OF THEM, SOME OF THEM ARE A LITTLE DIFFERENT, SEEMS I REMEMBER MEETING AN ARTIST YEARS AGO AND HE GAVE ME A BOOK OF POEMS FROM A SOUTH AMERICAN POET, I WISH I COULD REMEMBER HIS NAME, BUT ANYWAY HE HAD AN UNIQUE STYLE THAT I LIKED AND I TRY TO WRITE SOME IN THIS STYLE, I WILL BE POSTING SOME IN THE COMING DAYS, THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP, I REALLY APPRECIATE IT. Re: wildflowers
SORRY ABOUT CALLING THEM WEEDS, I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THEY WERE TO BEAUTIFUL TO BE CALLED WEEDS, SO THEY ARE CALLED FOUR O'CLOCKS, I AM GLAD THEY HAVE A NAME. THANKS FOR YOUR KIND COMMENTS. KENT

Riversidepoet, Inspirational poems and gospel songs are good writing material, but don't limit yourself.  God can use so many things to manifest Himself, like the wildflowers you call weeds in your photos.  The four o'clocks are very special to me.  I haven't seen any for many years.  Your photos of them brought back special memories.

In contrast to much of song lyrics today this poet sounds humble. He reaches out to the world poetically but doesn't force his attitude on you. It's poetry. ~ Blog on! BCA, Bill’s Wave
