Sam this is beautifully written. it contains within the feeling that you are writing about...tranquility. Like Tap said...once in a while its good to have conmotion to be able to grow and learn...and also to appreciate more what comes after all the dust settles down...the tranquility we all aspire to... Beautiful poem!

Very interesting, Sam. I'm thinking perhaps it is good that tranquility departs now and then for a time lest we become too caught up in its comforts and forget that growing and change usually come about when tranquility is absent. But, as a lodestar, tranquility shines.
