Re: benzinha

WileyJohn, go ahead and offend as we are all so busy offending each other and outraging each other, that you'll melt right into the woodwork and they'll think that you're one of us.

If they like Obama say something outrageous about him. If they like McCain, say something outrageous about him. Either way, that's the American thing to do now it seems.

No buffet at the fort? Well !!!!!

Then, did you steal that lovely food that you photographed sitting on the table tops and sideboards??

LOL There was no buffet line at the old fort luv, and Americans all seemed to have come on a bus and stuck to themselves. I wouldn't raise politics about the U.S.A. because I'm afraid I'd offend somebody. Big Hug

Re: benzinha
WileyJohn, everyone who wants to be here should be here and, and this gives you more to talk about with strangers about American politics and opinions, like when you're waiting in some buffet line at some old fort, wink wink.

So ridiculously distracting, isn't it..?

But then I think that is the point - focusing on the issues just might provoke an awareness of how badly we the people are being served by both parties and how wastefully, corruptly our hard earned tax dollars are being disposed of..might lead to (gulp for the elites)..Change!

Great post, Benz!..I found myself chuckling and grumbling at the same time..:)

It is fun to learn from the experience of others and to not have to learn absolutely everything alone............

Re: Sometimes politicians get so involved in the game, the debate,

Pat_B, exactly once again. It's the economy, stupid, I keep saying to everyone who wants to talk to me about bridges to nowhere and pig rouge and teen pregnancy.

Thanks for reading and for writing here.

Just a big thank you for your extensive comment on my entry re: Mrs Clinton. I was very interested to read your remarks about the book buyer. Probably he/she snapped up American leftovers, so to speak, which no one else wanted to read. TAPS wrote me a comment about Mr. Andersen who was also unknown to me. I just love these interchanges of information on blogit. It's so rewarding.

Sometimes politicians get so involved in the game, the debate,
they forget to put their best foot forward. It's kind of a tradition in politics to lambaste your opponent and ridicule him/her -- a thing that came over from the Brits when this country was first settled. Taking pot shots at your competition, showing your own sparkling wit is par for the course. The whole election process is more or less a macho pissing contest, which is why women have stayed out of this arena -- there's just too much flying testosterone.  You're right. They should be focused on the economy, on what's good for our citizens.
