Re: I sympathise!
Mariaki, it's not fear of loss of readers as much as it is just frustration at not knowing how to
fix a problem and not being able to figure it out. I have trouble just letting go and accepting
things the way they insist on being. LOL

Your post appeared perfect on my screen, but I have to say the scrolling backwards and forwards on some blogs has put me off reading them. Never fear, you are back on track!!

I never intended to freak you out! LOL. I'm NOT gonna stop reading you, even if I have to scroll 100 miles in both directions. ;)
But I don't think it's my computer, cuz it does it at work, at home, and on my dad's laptop. Oh well. Maybe Blogit will give us all the solution!

TAPS, I remember you telling me that. I didn't read her very much.
Why do bloggers say that and then MOT tell you who they were? it's not right! lol

Re: TAPS, LOL, funny you should say that...
Shelly_b, nothing seems to work with EmmaCunnan's posts. I wonder if that's why she
stopped writing. Once she told me she had been a Blogit member previously under
a different name, but she never told me who. Do you know who she was when she
was here before? I never get over being curious. LOL

Hi TAPS. I had to scroll sideways to read your post but I have a laptop so maybe it has something to do with the width of the screen.

Shelly_b, this comment,
"I usually go straight to the comment area and click on the post link from there.
It fixes the problem." is very interesting. I wonder why that is. I'll have to try that
on EmmaCunnan if she ever posts again. She's been gone now for a while.

I'm wide side-to-side on my own screen but only in the comments section. The
post is normal to me.

Thank You Everyone Who Responded
I so much appreciate all the comments on this post. I still don't understand why some bloggers have to scroll side to side and some don't. Neither do I know what to do. Everything someone has suggested does not seem to help. I have sent an email to Blogit and am waiting for an answer. I guess the river is waiting. LOL
My mom used to sing an old hillbilly song when something bothered her:
"I'm goin' down to the river now
to lay me down and die;
but if I find that the river's wet
I'll wait until it's dry.
Get along mule, don't you roll them eyes.
You can change a fool but a dog-gone mule
is a mule until he dies."

TAPS: If the problem of the formatting continues, just email Blogit, they will tell you how to correct.
On your article, I must say I mirror your frustration but if you use Microsoft you can ask them how to correct some of those problems. And don't get too flustered, by trial and error I learn a lot. You will too. I used to pay technicians for things I now work out for myself.

Taps this is exactly what I see. I did a screen capture for you. I don't understand why it is so far over if you didn't mess with it. I change mine all the time to accommodate my side picture and main area, but maybe yours will work out on its own. Hubby is waiting, we need to go help his mother with an electrical outlet problem, thus I must hurry and post this. Take care and here is your Rose.

Yes, TAPS, your text box has widened. But only a little beyond the
edge of the screen. Sorry, I don't know how to fix that, but don't worry. It won't stop me from reading you. Maybe Blogit help could tell you how to fix it. :)pat

I think it has to do with the computer and the font they are using, I never have that problem as I have a large screen, there were a few in the past I had trouble with but not usually, maybe they need to check their font and their monitor

Whatever caused the problem - it's fixed. When I first read your post, I had to scroll back and forth - but then, as I clicked on the comment button to tell you about it, it had changed - back to normal! So you can rest easy, nobody is going to stop reading you (I would still be reading you no matter
how much scrolling I had to do...)
