Wonderful reminder of my own mother and her flower gardens, Kabu!
She had banks of flowers as you describe, raised green beans and other vegetables for canning. I never ate such a healthy diet as when we lived out of Mom's garden. What a nice nostalgic narrative.

kabu, I love the ramblings about the past (of anyone).  You may keep it up
as long as you wish, as far as I am concerned.

Kabuiepie-;)

That is a beautiful picture and I love to see you out there 'puddling' around. You've made the place so flowery and your chipmunk training has made you a new buddy.Have you told Blogit yet that you can even pet CC when he's in your lap?

Are you really that Ste. Francis of Aussissi love?

Your garden picture Kabu is full of beautiful shades of green and with the light glimmering through

just sparkles . . . My Mom and Dad also have the best Green thumbs, from fruit trees, shrubs,

veggies, or pines, they also enjoy a busy garden yard. My thumbs kinda brown though, gotta

It is strange to read about chilly weather and packing things away in preparation of winter in an over 40oC climate, to be followed by summer/winter in Miami. Sadly I don't have a garden in either place, but potted palms and flowers do me nicely. Love the beautifully framed picture, kabu.
