I wasn't trying to get that going again. I was just trying to show you the difference.

Oh Kooka give it a break. I wasn't meaning to keep the praying thing
an on going issue. It was just a simile.

The main reason I started this blog all those years ago, was because believer here on Blogit were poking away (Hell they were straight out doing all they could to mutilate) at non-believers at every turn.  They still are in fact. I've been told I am not allowed to be offended by it and that I should just 'play it safe' or some other load of nonsense.

As long as believers wish to speak their minds about their beliefs in such an open manner, then I will do the same about my beliefs.

The prayer thing is different because of what is implied.  If you tell me you are going to pray for me because of my beliefs, that is a direct insult as far as I am concerned and is not about expressing your beliefs or any healthy form of an exchange of ideas.  It is going directly after me and what I believe in as being wrong just because that person does not agree with them. You don't pray for a person who you think is in good shape after all.

If it was boring it couldn't be Eden just as heaven couldn't be heaven if
we were going to all sit around a campfire singing How great thou art! Fundamentalism is always easy to poke fun at, I am NOT a fundamentalist but just like you can be offended by prayers said on your behalf, so can fundamentalist believers be offended by your always digging away at them.
