Never said anything about abortion. I myself greatly disagree with abortion, but I understand that due to the conservative sexual ideas having as much influence on our society as they do, abortion is a needed evil because making it illegal would only cause greater problems at this time.
If Palin had been more honest and accurate with sex education with her daughter, then maybe this would not have happened. Palin is a propionate of abstinence only education, which ahs been proven to NOT work, while the more honest and direct sexual education that teaches about the various forms of birth control and tell the kids how it really is, has been shown to work. Abstinence only education is also very much favored by the religious right who do not care if it works or not.
My post had nothing to do with abortion and everything to do with needing to keep religious ideas away form sex education.

In my opinion, if anything
Palin has demonstrated a controlling, domineering personality. Her previous actions concerning the library thing I
dont agree with despite of the content of the books she took issue with, even if I might agree with her on the disgustedness of the content. The fact that her daughter has rebeled against values and principles she may or may not have instilled is not a testament to the ineffectiveness of the christian "philosophy" of abstinence, but rather a testament of Palin and her daughter butting heads as a product of Palins personality and resulting rebellion.
