Perhaps I AM the demogogue. I think it's a great role and I'm hoping to fill the slot one day.
You can rest assured that you listen to Bush more than I do. I don't watch Bush so I haven't any idea what he says. I am the last person who is controlled by any propaganda as I view the world completely on my own screen. What I can tell you is that while Bush is fighting in Iraq he and McCain are also seem to be encouraging illegal Latin immigration so I don't believe they're xeno-phobes (ha ha) that you seem to think they are.
Also the reason why you believe so few are like me is because Marxists like yourself only surround themselves with others like them because they hate reality. Whenever they get around someone whose real they run back to their imaginary world. THey're all brain-washed by politically-correct leftist oatmeal. No different than Hitlers Germany, just the flipside of it which is suicide in the name of tolerance. Left-wing fascists and the socially vain who're so worried about what everyone thinks. The entire social atmosphere is dominated by this Marxist illusion and everyone knows damn well they have to adhere to it or they may lose their jobs etc etc. Of course this carries over into their social lives often. None of these people are even human anymore. They're just a pre-recorded message and thats why I can always destroy them in an argument.
You have a very black and white mentality which is common among Americans. So if one isn't a bleeding heart liberal then they're simply a nazi. Honestly I could care less what people call me or think of me. Most people are too shallow and boring for my taste anyway.
As for being paranoid, it is the left that is paranoid with all that global-warming and conspiracy crap. Do you really think humans are going to last forever? Do you really think that humans are going to quit driving and using spray cans so that we supposedly will avoid another ice-age or melt-down? THe left is neurotic and obsessive and so they create this stuff to entertain their heads.
Besides some of the places I go to no paranoid person would dare venture nor would many so called normal people.
In my case, I and anyone with any common sense can see where all this liberal stuff is getting us and we want to head it off at the pass. That's not paranoia, that's being smart. That's called survival. The party of death known as the left will not survive unless they're protected by those who are willing to fight if that time comes. And then of course you will go back to the same childish rhetoric and protest the very system that tolerates you and that is part of your faulty brain chemistry. Still that child screaming at the parent. The left is eternally naive like a child playing in the sand-box.

that many a demogogue can exploit.
what is scary is that, although your exact views are shared by a very few, the paranoia is not; it is a disease of a large portion of the U.S. population, fueled by the Bush Administration's faulty rhetoric and propaganda.
We've had a few societies similar to the one that your attitude feeds. You mentioned a couple in your post here, Hitler's Germany in particular.

I really enjoyed your response. I took what you said about me as a compliment actually. As for only a few people thinking like me you'll find that if you leave San Francisco or New York there are many who think like me.
Perhaps I sound more extreme or dramatic than they but the logic is the same. You should try talking to someone like me you may actually sober up.
Also I am laughing with ecstasy that you call me your enemy. You actually acknowlegde that you don't love everyone. However the only enemy you have is yourself. Liberals are their own worst enemy. The party of death.

Mordent, you nailed this when you said that liberals will be the first to go once the Muslims take over. Liberals, who have no firm base, who believe whatever the prevailing winds tell them to believe, will be the first to cave in to their invaders. "Fundamentalist Christians" on the other hand, who have a base, who have convictions, will actually be willing to fight to the death for their Christian beliefs and for their country.
Muslims are taking over empty churches in Europe -- churches that were filled w/ luke warm "christians" and protestants who finally got bored and went home. Thank God there are some churches that are thriving and growing -- and it's because they actually STAND for SOMETHING!
Ironically, the churches in AMerica that are growing are not your mainstream denominations. Those are shrinking. People are attracted to those churches who actually stand for something, have strong convictions, that have a firm foundation -- whether it be a protestant church, a good catholic church or a Muslim gathering.

I'm all for keeping the state and church seperate. However it is people of a European/Christian base that founded the West whether you like it or not.
We celebrate Christmas and speak English whether you like it or not.
It is human nature to war in order to get their way. All the people whose rights you're so concerned about would like to tear all this down and replace our English language and the Western religion with theirs. This is human nature. Like it or not it's a war just the way you are waring with me over ideas.
Notice how you (your post) again are attacking or rebelling against "fundamentalist Christians." What do you think your choices are? Wait until Muslims have their way and control what Christians used to. You and your liberal brethren will be the first to go. Notice how Christianity tolerates you even if they don't like you (nobody really likes anyone different now do they). Muslims would never tolerate your kind. Liberals rebel and protest against the only people who would tolerate them because they are the party of death.
You think you're being fair by taking down Christian symbols so that others are not offended. This is their smoke-screen. Soon enough they ( they already are) will be filling those empty slots with their religious symbols. Look to Europe (especially England) for better examples of this as they're weaker, and more naive such as you and your party of death. Fortunately their leadership is becoming more right-wing as they realize they're committing suicide.
You'd better find a better reason than my rantings to be a liberal. Committing suicide in the name of rebellion isn't good enough.

You cannot at all compare the immigrants of the early 20th century to the third worlders on now. They were European and were simply not that different in religion, attitude and all that other good stuff. They already came from a developed society.
Those immigrants: Jewish, Irish, Italian, Polilsh, German learned the language and assimilated. And even I will aknowledge that these groups produced a certain amount of criminals, organized and disorganized but the percentage is absolutely puny compared to our modern situation. These groups have long been successful and at this point are not turning the US into a 3rd world dump.

3. Anti-religion. Who knows whats beyond the stars really. Perhaps there is nothing but fear of Christ and God seems to have help keep Europe and Western Civ in some sort of order. However many leftists loath Christianity as this would hold them accountable. This is the child going against his parents again. However this child has no problem with letting in those stoning, stomping Islamics who like to blow things up and make their women wear lots of clothing all the while these same leftists are for womens rights.

what is anti-religion is fundamentalist Christians trying to cram their religion down others' throats by promoting public displays of religion, mainly Christianity, and basically violating to constitutional principles that protect religion, not only from the state, but from other religions

1. Pro-enviornment yet pro third world-immigration. Is one's environment ever improved by importing hordes of immigrants who usually turn their environment into an extension of where they're from? Decayed neighborhood, more crime, more murder, more death.
Sorry but immigrants have been coming here in droves during all administrations. Republicans encourage it as much as Democrats.
