The Heat and Humidity
came here! You'd get on right well here with taking off your shoes and all! Any home I visit in the US, we, I should say, create our own
genkan area, where shoes are taken off. The thermo socks sound UGH in this weather, but I understand they must be lovely in the cold... what's that??

I thought it was just me, feeling chilled. Therasocks, hmmm...
I felt exceptionally worn out yesterday, achy and blue. I attributed it to the beta blockers they've prescribed, slows the heartbeat, makes me feel s l o w. Next week's follow-up visits to docs, I hope, will free me from taking those meds, but I know how docs like to push pills.

Wow! Thanks, Robdon. I didn't see that. It does sound dangerous, doesn't it.

lustorlove, I just got out of a wonderfully hot shower that loosened up every bit of stiffness and I am now ready for anything. My night is just beginning. LOL

Sam, isn't it wonderful to have a furnace to turn on with the flick of a finger, instead of having to chop wood, or shovel coal and use a poker every few minutes. We complain about the cost of heating our homes, but it sure is a nice convenience.

Taps, I almost turned the furnace on yesterday myself. I had left so many windows open it was 65 in the house. A huge drop in tempertature. But like you I just refused and grabbed warmer clothing too! sam

I'm worried that what you have now we will get later. For now, we are still enjoying gorgeous summer weather, and may it last...

Poor taps! Where did you say you live? Here in Ottawa it's almost too hot: 30oC and sunny! What about that for a beginning of fall? It's nicer now than during the "real" summer that never was...

Oh,
please say we have another couple of weeks of sun around the corner. I'd be awfully disappointed if that's it for the summer (chilly and sock-like here today too).

I was walking in the rain on my way to work today. The colours were grey and cold and it was a surprice to realize that the rain was warm. I was whisteling when I entered the office :) There is no bad weather if you are dressed for it. Enjoy your socks :)
