Be selfish and grasp all the Mom as you can. I miss my mom so much.20 years of "I" No one else is the same as Mom. Appreciation and age give insight to where we will go.

I think she is making a wise decision to protect herself from potential injury! I think your concern may be premature, but I can appreciate the anxiety. sam
