oh, sorry dear...i've totally forgotten your place where frank truly hits bad. Sorry to hear about the dreaded scenario my dear...and i'm glad you are safe and your family. Feels good to be back at Blogit and to be refreshed once again with the beautiful thoughts of our fellow bloggers especially you. Yes, been out of touch for some time. Kalibo, my hometown, the provincial capital of Aklan in Panay Island was at the eye of Typhoon Frank last June 21, 2008. It was the worst calamity to hit our place since my childhood, strong winds/cyclone, quick floods and mud flows that sent us scurrying to the rooftops and ceilings of our houses and left everything in shambles. For weeks, we had no power, water and food was rationed at the relief centers. I'm in Manila right now for an official business and got to open the internet without hassle. Back in Aklan, our servers are still having connection problems.
I came up with the Frank Diaries and will publish them here soon. My best regards to the family. Again, keep on writing. I am among those who are powered by the beauty and tenderness of your poetry.
