Naut, I have had quite enough of Bush and Republicans running the show, and am willing to take the risk that Obama and Biden are not the ideal. They are closer to it than McCain and Palin.

As another foreign national, I am inclined to agree with the one you cited, that there is a good deal of political naiveté to be found in the US , as indeed there is in my country.
That does not mean, however, that I think the Obama/Biden ticket is the better choice! But I am sure you and I can agree to disagree...
