All of that stuff started with Bush
and the Republicans are the ones who created the mess. The only kind of stereotype that you might be able to pin on Obama is that of Presidential janitor; cleaning up the mess of the oil company boot licker:  Bush!!!

Re: Re: Slow Learner
Excellent advice.  Now, where are those ear plugs, to block out all that noise on the Internet?

Re: Slow Learner
American politics are retarded. Forget the elections and just enjoy life.

Re: mordent, you are one heck of a creative writer.

Thank you for the compliments and yes I know very well that my material isn't something most would subscribe to. Especially a women.

I will vote for you when you run by the way.

Slow Learner
I suspect you of data sampling.  That is, you pick your data, and ignore the rest.  After all, I am a libertarian, currently a registered Republican, but I expect I will vote for Obama because I cannot trust John McCain's judgment (See the Cato Institute's website for discussion of McCain's foreign policy judgment.  See the Constitution for refutation of the McCain Feingold bill.)  But I do not see Obama as Messianic, and neither does he.  Nor do his followers in my neighborhood.  We all wonder whether he can follow through on his plans, but figure it's better to try something in the right direction than support something in the wrong direction.  (One more comment on McCain's judgment:  Is Governor Palin ready to be president?  Who would ever choose her to lead, well, anything, besides a Pro-Life rally?)

Race riots if Obama loses?  And what if he wins?  Already, several nutcases have been arrested for plotting to kill him, though the FBI says they weren't much of a threat.  Not that they weren't serious, just incompetent.  I don't know if Obama will win or lose.  I have a rather poor record of predicting the outcome of elections.  I suspect I always over-estimate the electorate; I can't understand how so many people could not see what Bush was, and the mess he would make.  We tried to warn you.  But if Obama loses, I'll just start lobbying Congress to keep McCain in line.  There are always options.

mordent, you are one heck of a creative writer.
On the one hand I don't quite subscribe to your, let's call it angry sarcasm, but on the other hand I am thoroughly enjoying your wit and content.  Well done!

There's no telling how the party of hate will react if their god is defied and not elected. Should be interesting.
