Troosha, our grage six teacher was a master story teller..I still remember
how he'd hold us spellbound with a madeup Halloween story (off the top of his head..he never read it out of a book)...I like telling stories myself, but I'll never touch his fascinating  manner(isms)....:)

I love stories!!!  As a child I liked best staying in by the fire and listening to my Grand mama tell her tales...  as an adult I also love to read them and hear them when I find the rare gift of someone like you that tells them so well... Great poem Troosha.

Troosha, I am so blessed that both of my parents were wonderful storytellers.  I learned so much about my heritage from the stories that they told of their lives, the lives of their parents and grandparents, and so many other interesting things about life.

I agree, there is nothing like a good storyteller! I like the imagery you have created as well.  sam
